Hey, everyone. I just thought I would post an update to tell who ever reads this blog ( If there are any ) that I am leaving today to good old Great Britain for two weeks.
Now naturally I will be trying to get some birding in mainly around my old locals in Dorset. Whether the weather ( unintended pun ) lets me is another story... 40 days of rain anyone? But If I somehow manage to get out then I shall be sure to post the dally tallies on here, whenever I get internet access.... If I do.
So until the next post - Happy Birding!

Damn! Long time...
Well, I like totally forgot about this blog? I have been so busy these days that I did not even think about posting! Im really sorry! I shall remedy that. I think its time to start up again. Lets finally get this blog up and running.
Okay so quite a lot has happened since that post a long time ago... I dont really want to be talking about the past to much so I will just add some photos of an recent trip to El Hondo. Basically thats all that has happened bird wise to be honest. I have no transport out here. Tennis also takes up much of my time.
Although I am planning to get out to my local patch a lot more so do not worry I shall have stuff to talk about. Even its it totally boring aha... ;)
PHOTOS FROM EL HONDO -
Birds are as follows: Black Winged Stilt ( Almost too close from the hide to photograph! ) Collared Praticole ( Likewise ) Black Necked Grebe ( Lots on the lake ) White Headed Duck ( Beautiful birds ) Squacco Heron ( Distant views but lifer ) Collared Pratincole ( Again )
Other birds from this trip: Pallid Swift, Common Swift, House Martin, Crag Martin, Barn Swallow, Squacco Heron, Little Bittern, Spoonbill, Little Egret, Cattle Egret, Garganey, Marbled Duck, Sedge Warbler, Great Reed Warbler, Crested Lark etc
